GCBD Network Operations Center Tier-2 Engineer

Responsibilities
· Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
· Network event and incident management
· Manage communications and notifications about events, incidents, problems, and changes
· Receive
and respond to escalations for reported network issues from the
internal help desk by documenting, investigating, troubleshooting, and
resolving in real time with the internal customer on the telephone with
you
· Receive and respond to escalations from the NOC’s Tier-1
engineers. Document, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve the changes,
incidents, and problems. This may be done in real time with the
internal customer on the telephone with you
· Escalate incidents and problems to Tier-3 engineering teams that cannot be resolved in timely manner
Required Experience and Skills
· Good English oral and written communications skills
· Excellent interpersonal communications and customer-service skills
· Ability to work under pressure and manage difficult situations
· Experience managing outages and upgrades.
· In-depth
knowledge of the technologies and support requirements of all areas of
data and voice networking including WAN, LAN, Remote Access, security,
CDN, VoIP, QoS, and optimization.
· Experience with configuring and supporting BGP, RSVP, LDP, MPLS, ISIS and OSPF.
· Skills
and experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices in a
complex environment. Devices include switches, routers, firewalls,
wireless controllers and access points in a large enterprise consisting
of multiple environments (WAN, LAN, retail stores, and data center
traffic management)
· Skills and experience needed to configure monitoring tools. Ability to maximize network performance through monitoring
· Skills and experience troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, NetScalers, and Global Server Load Balancers (GSLB), and TCP/IP
· Skills and experience with vendor coordination and troubleshooting service provider links at a large enterprise
· Minimum 3 years of experience providing hand-on network engineering support
· Cisco CCNP certification and competencies
· Juniper JNCIP certification and competencies
· Hands on experience with Juniper, Cisco and Arista hardware preferable
· Hands on experience of basic Linux commands and directory structure

接收并回应来自Tier1工程师反馈的问题。记录,调查,排除故障,解决变化、事故、问题。这是可以与内部客户通过电话及时解决的。
及时向Tier3支持团队提交新增事故和无法解决的问题

必要经验和技能
本科及以上学历,计算机、通信工程、网络工程、自动化相关专业
相关工作经验7年以上(如果具备高级证书及完全贴合我方需求,5年以上工作经验)
优秀的英语口语、写作交流能力
优秀的人际沟通能力和客户服务能力
有一定的抗压能力和处理困难情况的能力
有管理中断和升级的经验
深入了解所有领域的数据和语音网络的技术与支持要求,包括WAN、LAN、远程接入、安全、CDN、VoIP、QoS以及优化
对BGP, RSVP, LDP, MPLS, ISIS, OSPF有配置与支持的经验
在多元化环境下的大型企业中,对网络设备配置和故障排查上有丰富技术与经验,包括交换机、路由器、防火墙、无线控制器、接入点(WAN, LAN, 零售店和数据中心交通管理)
具有配置监管工具所需的技能和经验,能够最大程度监管网络性能
具有DNS, DHCP, NetScalers, GSLB, TCP/IP故障排查的技能和经验
有在大型企业数据中心负责供应商管理和运营商侧网络故障处理经验
不少于三年的提供实时网络工程支撑工作经验
具有Cisco CCNA 、Juniper JNCIP资格证和任职资格
优先考虑具有Juniper, Cisco, Arista硬件经验者
掌握基本Linux命令和目录结构的经验
